The Employee Benefits Awards is the only event truly dedicated to celebrating and recognising the work that employers undertake in the field of employee benefits. This is your chance to add your name to the roll call of illustrious past winners and to gain the recognition you deserve. Although these awards celebrate the work of employers, there is an opportunity for advisers to enter clients and to have their input into employers' strategies duly noted.
This year we have broadened the scope of some categories and introduced others to better reflect employers' strategies. One new category that is particularly exciting is Compensation and benefits professional of the year. The aim is to celebrate innovative thinkers and practitioners in the field of employee benefits and to give inspiration to others. Another is the Most effective use of reward as part of a corporate social responsibility strategy. We have introduced this award to recognise the growing emphasis that organisations are placing on making a contribution to society and caring for the environment.
Fittingly, entrants were also invited to make a charity donation to Samaritans with their entry. Samaritans is the only emotional support charity that provides 24/7 confidential support for anyone in distress. Unlike many other awards ceremonies we do not charge an entry fee, so please give generously to this charity.
We would like to thank our sponsors for their support of the 2008 Awards, and in particular our associate sponsor Watson Wyatt.
We hope to see you at the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 18th June 2008. The event will take place at the London Hilton on Park Lane and will be hosted by a top entertainer.
